such an auspicious date today! if only i can get attached today LOL. anw, boringband met up today! it's been so long. really. since last yr's oct. i'm so happy today!:D

alright let's see.. we met at billy bombers(no there're no bombs there) and pangpipi's late as usual! she was late for an hour can. the 3 of us almost died from starvation. an hour later, there came the late queen with no trace of guilt at all. tsk! nvm we're used to it. she's much better compared to cy HAHA. :x

anw we then ordered and ate and paid and left. sounds so simple and ordinary. but NO! as i said, it's a very auspicious date today. we had fun, even from just sitting down for ard 3 hours just to chat and crap. laughter didn't stop other than munching on food. and i realised that i really do miss them much. it still felt so comfortable even though we didn't talk and interact for so long, and that's what's so special about them:)
ehhh i can speak English when i'm talking to them! wooooot. i usually can't speak English properly, to almost everyone. i'll stutter and stammer and make blunders and bubbles.. it's so cool! i finally CAN speak English! yay!:D
anw, billy bombers' not bad, except that it's pretty costly for a poor student like me:( we went there cos shuning had a $15 off voucher. we used it and ironically, we got 5 more of those vouchers after payment. =.= now, who wants to go billy bombers($15 off!)?

HISTORY OF BORINGBAND

in the yr 2003, 9 girls met in tkss sec1a. they belonged to the same clique and often hung out together as one. for 2 yrs, they enjoyed throughout and loved each other's company. even though there're tonnes of negative rumours spreading ard, they still managed to keep their friendship going.

in the yr 2004, they had no choice but to part and accept the brand new sec3 life in their new classes. in one of the class gatherings that yr, they teared.

in the yr 2005, the 9 of them had to be in their new classes, and adapt to their new classmates and make new friends. however, this wasn't as easy as it seemed to be. the 9 of them were separated(2 in 3a, 3 in 3b, 2 in 3c, 1 in 3e, 1 in 3g) and 3e and 3g were the only classes on the other block of classrooms. hence, the 2 of them in 3e and 3g, let's name them A and B respectively, were somehow dependant on each other and got super close.
initially, the 9 of them would make it a point to go for recess together. as the days went by, they all got busier and only 4 were left at the previously crowded benches-those 2 in 3a, A and B. they somehow got stuck to each other and YOOOHOOOOOOOO! there came boringband!:D

ahhhh memories are coming back now..

pubbing ytd night was pretty cool. tomatoes went to CHIJMES, Harry's. usually pple will think that pubs are quite indecent and all right? stereotypers! oh or am i stereotyping instead? O.o
ah thats not the point. Harry's filled with angmohs and tt explains why we're hesitating whether to go in or not. we went in and got the comfy sofa seats! it's really damn comfy tt i almost fell asleep.
anw it's just like any other normal cafes, just that their costs of goods are high. anw i didn't take any pictures! i thought it'd be quite suaku to start snapping pictures in front of the foreigners. heh.

the drinks! my friends're sad cos they ordered drinks which aren't that nice. bitter and tastes like medicine. awww. mine's awesome!:D

the drinks really have cute names. hilarious. huiping and peishan were so entertained. ^^

i realised something today. although pple always say that it's the process that matters, pple only care about the result. you yourself will be the only one who'll experience the process, the torment, the lessons. what others care and see will be the result, the outcome, the effects.
eg. exams. the process of taking an examination is such a turmoil to many. however, you think others care about how much you've been through? how much you've studied? how hard you've tried? it's the results, the marks, the grades that matters at the end of the day. whatever bonsai stress you're under, or how many brainless careless mistakes you've made, nobody will know and they won't bother, at all!
the school will only look at your final grades and determine if you need to see the principal to get some lashings in case you spoil the school's reputation for not doing well in A's.
your tutors will only look at your total marks and determine if you need to attend remedial classes and zillions of extra lessons which can kill.
your friends will only ask about how many marks you've got to determine your smartness and if you're a pathetic loser.
your parents will only look at how many 'A's you have to determine if you'd put in enough effort.
